There is only one portable sign on the property
Sign communicates message related to property ownership or business located on the property
Sign does not have more than 2 sign faces
No one sign dimension is greater than 2.4 meters
No one sign face exceeds 3.7 square meters in area
Total height of sign does not exceed 2.7 meters
Sign is not installed on street (by-law T-310)
No part of sign is located within 1.5 meters of property line
No part of sign is located within 3 meters of a driveway
No sign is located within sight triangle as per city of Moncton zoning by-law
The property owner or occupant where the portable sign will be installed has signed the consent form authorizing the City, its agent, or designate to enter the property and remove any sign that contravenes the Portable Signs By-Law, or for which the permit has expired or been revoked.

By applying for this permit, I understand that my portable sign meets all requirements of the City of Moncton’s By-law Relating to Portable Signs in the City of Moncton noted above.

I understand that, even once a permit is issued, my portable sign is subject to inspection by the City of Moncton.

Upon receiving the electronic permit by email, I will have it printed or saved and readily available for the duration of its validity in the event of an inspection.
