Tree Planting Program

As part of our beautification program, we offer street trees (8 to 10 feet tall) to residents and businesses.

The trees will be planted along the street front within the right of way on municipal property for an application fee of $100 plus HST ($115) (valued at $500) on a first-come first-served basis.

Once a request is submitted, City staff will evaluate the site to determine if it meets the requirements for tree planting. If approved, the proper tree for the location will be planted.

Although submissions can be made at any time, tree planting will typically be performed in May and June of each year.
